About the Ⓕ mark

The Ⓕ — a capital F enclosed in a circle — is a licensed membership mark of the Federal Franchise Association. When you see it beside a brand's logo, it means that brand offers franchise ownership opportunities and is an active, verified member of the Association.

Many brands offer franchising without the word "Franchise" anywhere in their name or logo. The Ⓕ closes that gap: a single, quiet symbol that tells prospective owners an opportunity exists.

Only approved members with an active, paid membership may display the Ⓕ. Every member receives a unique member ID and appears in our public registry, so anyone can verify a brand's status.

The Ⓕ is a private membership mark — not a government seal, certification, or registration. The Federal Franchise Association is an independent, private organization and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or part of any government body. Unauthorized display of the mark is prohibited under the member licensing agreement.
